Dear Maria Saleem,

I, Jameel Bhatti, hereby issue this legal notice to inform you of my intention to seek a divorce. Our marriage has irretrievably broken down, and I believe it is in both our best interests to dissolve our marriage.

Grounds for divorce:

Cruelty, desertion, disobedience & irreconcilable differences.

I request you to please respond to this notice within 30 days from the date of receipt. If you fail to respond or contest the divorce, I will proceed with legal proceedings as per the laws of Paksitan.

I like as well as I am open to an amicable settlement and encourage mediation to resolve any outstanding issues related to property, finances, and child custody.
